Donald J. Trump

Donald J. Trump 45th President of the United States (2017-present)

Today we Inaugurate a new President. He is probably the most unexpected President, at least in modern history. He tapped into a growing frustration with the political establishment on both sides of the isle. I, like many have had my reservations about him. But this blog isn't a place for political debate, and I truly wish him the best of luck in accomplishing his slogan "Make America Great Again".

Now, unto the business of talking about the historical sites connected with Donald Trump. I haven't been to any of them. But I recently added some of them to a long list of sites to see whenever I make it back to the New York City area. Trump was born in a hospital in Queens, New York on June 14, 1946, making him the 3rd President born in the summer of 1946, along with Clinton and Bush 43. The big sites to see for him are his birthplace, a boyhood home in Queens, and Trump Tower. I am still working on finding some more significant sites to see for him.

If you follow this blog you may of seen these pictures below. My last 2 posts were an election of 2016 post and a 2016 year in review post. And so naturally the pictures that I took at 2 Trump rallies last year fall under those categories. And they also fall under this Donald Trump post. So until I can visit some of his historical sites, these close encounters with the new President will have to do.

Donald Trump is our first non politician President since Eisenhower. He is also now the oldest President to take office at 70, beating out Ronald Reagan by a few months. The history of his term of office will most definitely be interesting.
